Any information about bacterial vaginosis?

bacterial vaginosis information
lolligagg questioned:

At the gyno. yesterday my doctor said I had BV and gave me some Clindeese. It was a one time use cream (applicator)…There were no instructions on how long to leave it on…or how long it would take to work. From the research I’ve done I’m under the impression it takes weeks of continual usage with the cream for the infection to clear up…but my doctor gave me only one box (one applicator/one time use)…What can I expect after using the cream yesterday…when can I wash it out, and can I expect the infection to be cured?

Bacterial Vaginosis in early pregnancy?

bacterial vaginosis information
Michelle questioned:

I’d like to get some information from your guys, if possible. I was just pregnant and my LMP is October 12th. I had some mild pain in my lower abdomen and I went to a doctor this morning. The doctor checked me and did some research under the microscope, and she establish a lot of bacterias. I was diagnosed bacterial vaginosis.

She warned me of preterm labor as well as possible side effects of the medicine, finally she chose that I should be treated with Metronidazole (Flagyl), twice a day for 7 days. At first, she told me it’s common to have some mild abdominal pain as the uterus grows, but when she establish the bacterias, she suspected that it might be the reason causing the pain.

I read some articles saying that getting BV in early pregnancy is more serious than getting it in late pregnancy and it may cause a few complications.

I don’t know if I should be treated at this moment or wait until the second trimester, and if I take the medicine, it may harm the fetus. What would you do if you have a case like mine?

Thank you in development.

bacterial vaginosis information
xtina. questioned:

I’m nearly positive I have BV, I’ve never had it before but I’ve searched the internet and that is exactly what my symptoms are. I am scheduling a gyno appointment for next Saturday.

How quick will I get results? And can someone clarify how someone gets BV, is it an STD? I’ve only had 1 sex partner.

Try not to copy and paste things from sites because I really don’t know that. lol

Naturally Treat Bacterial Vaginosis

To naturally handle bacterial vaginosis is a much better option than taking the antibiotics that simply mask the symptoms rather than addressing the root cause. Many women are under the misconception that the standard treatments are slower to operate as antibiotics but this is not the case. Indeed, a excellent treatment strategy will be normal to remove immediately any of the worse symptoms and can provide a quick relief. The normal treatment of bacterial vaginosis is a fantastic option for treating this unpleasant feeling. For many women, bacterial vaginosis is not a one time thing , but may persist for years, appearance and going at different times.

Usually, a woman the ‘line of defense is she must first visit the doctor. Very often, she will be sent away with a prescription for antibiotics. There are various reasons why it is very rarely a excellent option for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis, but for a doctor facing a patient wanting a quick solution, it is understandable why they are given these reliefs because they mask the symptoms. Unfortunately, that’s all they are responsibility while the root cause of what caused the bacterial vaginosis is still there.

That is why over 70% of women who are treated with antibiotics for bacterial vaginosis have repeated attacks in a few small weeks after finishing their  antibiotics.

The BV is caused by an imbalance in the natural bacteria in the vagina and treatment of normal bacterial vaginosis may work better than antibiotics not only to suppress the symptoms but to address the root causes and thus to prevent repetition. The best solution is to naturally handle bacterial vaginosis.

In the vagina there are two different types of bacteria-excellent and terrible. Under normal circumstances, excellent bacteria keeps the terrible bacteria under control. The bacterial vaginosis occurs when there is an overgrowth of terrible bacteria. This can happen for various reasons, it may be something as simple as over-washing or changing your laundry detergent. Sometimes it may occur due to a change of sexual partner and this may disturb the normal balance in the vagina. When this occurs, the typical symptoms of uncomfortable, burning, tenderness and the unpleasant smell of fish starts.

When antibiotics are given, all the bacteria in the vagina are killed off, and this includes (excellent) beneficial bacteria. Now while this may remove the external signs of bacterial vaginosis, as soon as the course ends and eventually bacteria naturally repopulates the vagina, the whole cycle starts again as the primary cause of bacterial vaginosis is still there.

Again to point the importance of it, the best solution would be to naturally handle bacterial vaginosis. Indeed a excellent natural cure would act more quickly than antibiotics and does use strategies to prevent the reoccurence.

BlackDahlia questioned:

I just started having sex, which I reckon prompted my first ever problem down there. I went to the gyno for the first time and I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. My doctor gave me the antibiotic metronidazol to clear it up. But, the more I look into it, it sounds like taking the antibiotic can cause a yeast infection. Is this just other types of antibiotics? Or am I likely to get a yeast infection now?
