Any information about bacterial vaginosis?

lolligagg questioned:
At the gyno. yesterday my doctor said I had BV and gave me some Clindeese. It was a one time use cream (applicator)…There were no instructions on how long to leave it on…or how long it would take to work. From the research I’ve done I’m under the impression it takes weeks of continual usage with the cream for the infection to clear up…but my doctor gave me only one box (one applicator/one time use)…What can I expect after using the cream yesterday…when can I wash it out, and can I expect the infection to be cured?

Usually, you would use the cream until it is all gone. But, just phone your Dr’s office and question them to clarify it for you. It may take a week or less to clear up.
